Please help us give a warm welcome to Gabriela Romanow, Parent Advocate, who will serve as our Community Outreach Manager & Liaison to Neuromyelitis Optica [NMO] organizations worldwide.
Gabriela first became invested in Neuromyelitis Optica when her son was diagnosed in 2014. Since then, she has volunteered her time and effort towards raising significant funds for NMO research and development. Gabriela’s philanthropy is not just limited to NMO, but she’s also been a director of the Lenny Zakim Fund for the past 15 years, spearheaded a campaign to renovate Brookline’s public library raising over $4.5 million, led development and communications at ACCION International for a dozen years, and organized “Dining for NMO” alongside MasterChef Season 3 winner, Christine Ha.
We are honored to have Gabriela join our team and help illuminate the darkness of Neuromyelitis Optica.
